The Hand Therapy balls are used to exercise the fingers, hands, and forearms, as well as to provide stress relief. They increase grip strength, dexterity, mobility, and fine/gross motor skills.
Following injury to the wrist, elbow or shoulder it is common for the muscles of the upper limb to waste due to disuse. Hand Therapy Balls can help maintain muscle function during the early stages and improve muscle function and resolve swelling during the later stages of an upper limb injury. The level of exercise can be graded depending on the resistance of the Hand therapy Ball. These are color coded to indicate the level of resistance. Simply start witht the easiest and work your way up as you get stronger.
Available in five different levels of resistance, balls are 1¾" in diameter and can be heated or frozen for more therapeutic choices.
